Misal Pav ~ SNC Challenge

Misal Pav is a Mumbai based street food. I have never tasted this before I made this today for South vs North challenge. This is the first time am participating in the challenge. Our friend and fellow blogger Divya Pramil from youtoocancookindianfood started this group. SNC(South vs North challenge) is a challenge between North and South indian teams. Based on our culinary expertise, we are either North team or South team. I belong to South team and I have to make the dish that the North team challenge us to make and vice versa for other team. This month challenge by the South team is hosted by Sherin of Kuk'sKitchen and the challenge is to make Medu Vadas. On the other hand Meena of Random Ramblings North team has challenged us to make Misal Pav.This recipe was totally new to me and thanks to Divya and Meena for giving us a platform to learn new recipes of Indian origin. So here's goes my entry to this month's challenge.
