Mushroom Fry

Mushroom belongs to fungi plants.. Unlike normal plants, mushrooms doesn't require sun light to grow.. Refer more info about mushroom in the following Link
 

Some mushrooms are eatable and some are poisonous..  Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor died because of eating poisonous mushrooms.. Thank God.. Those days are over.. Now the mushrooms are tested and classified for eating purposes..  Mushrooms are rich source of  vitamins and minerals..

Mushrooms can be cooked under 20 - 30 mins...



Ingredients

 
Mushroom - 250 grms

Tomatoes - 1
Chopped onion - 1
Coriander powder - 1
Cumin - 1
Cumin powder
Garam masala whole - pinch
Garlic cloves - 4
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - few drops(1/2 piece)
Oil - 1 tbsp
Pepper - 1 pinch
Red chilli- tsp to taste
Salt - to taste
Turmeric - pinch


Method:
 

  1. Heat oil in a pan , add whole garam masala, cumin seeds and when they crackle add chopped onions  stir for 1 min, add pinch of salt,turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste fry till the raw smell goes
  2. Add curry leaves and chopped green chillies and add tomatoes and cook for few min till oil separates
  3. Add mushrooms and little bit water  cook till they are soft4 . take another pan add butter , add crushed garlic, pepper,cumin seeds mixture and add coriander powder and cumin powder
  4. Add the cooked mushroom mixture and cook till the moisture evaporates and dry
  5. Finish with lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves
