When I was searching for new type of variety rice, I came across this dish and I gave a try it came very well. This is very colorful recipe and children will love it. Chocolate And Vanilla Marble Cake

2013 is an unforgettable year in my life.. 2013 is definitely a year to remember .. a year to cherish.. lots of happy things.. lots of blogging.. lots of smile.. lots of happiness.. lots of learnings.. lots of improvements.. of course some sorrows.. some sad things.. When I look back, good things make me happier and tough things makes me tougher.. No matter whatever happened in the year, none of us forget to set new goals and resolutions for the new year. I am very excited start this year 2014. Lets start the new year with a chocolate and vanilla marble cake.This super easy and soft marble cake is just right for New Year's celebrations.This won’t cost you hours in the kitchen, ensuring that you can toast to a relaxing New Year’s!Once Again Happy New Year friends :)


Ingredients :

Self raising flour
225 gms
Granulated Sugar
225 gms
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp
Eggs
3
Butter
225 gms
Vanilla Extract
1 tsp
Salt
A Pinch
Milk
3 tbsp

Steps :
  • Heat oven to 180C/gas 160C/gas 4. Grease a loaf tin or cake tin and line with greaseproof paper.
  • Cream the butter and sugar with an electric whisk in a large mixing bowl until very pale and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Then whisk in the vanilla extract and milk.
  • Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl, then fold it gently into the butter mixture.
  • Divide the cake batter into two equal portions.
  • Stir the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls mix well.
  • Spoon large blobs of each cake mixture into the prepared tin, alternating the flavours to give a marble effect. Bake for 30 minutes until the cake is springy to the touch and a wooden skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the tin for ten minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely before slicing.
